Any of this make to the Fox "news" channel?

This record of accomplishments is pretty breathtaking in fact. I am in awe of this man's ability. How is it no one remembers that in November 2008, before the election, Richard Burr was telling his wife to pull out all their money before the banks went under. The Dow Jones was under 7000 when Bush left office. They tried to call it the Obama recession. Why doesn't he get credit for the recovery now?

Obamanation

Obamanation -

Granted, a good catchy slogan is memorable, but that doesn't make it reasonable or even coherent. The sign holder probably did not vote for President Obama, but an undeniable majority of Americans did. Get over it. We put up with Bush who did not win the first election, and may have stolen the second election. Give President Obama a chance before you disenfranchise the will of the majority.

Blind fear

The right wing corporate party knows how to create and capitalize on fear. They learned how to do it from their extensive research into effective advertising. If you can use images,  keywords, and insecurities to make a person feel frightened and inadequate, you can manipulate that person's behavior. You can make that person spend hard-earned money on useless crap. Or you can make that person go out in the street and spit on anyone identified (by you, of course) as a scapegoat. You can even make that person behave in ways that are self-destructive and irrational. You can cause an otherwise intelligent person to voluntarily inhale toxic gases and ignore the physical nausea until an addiction is created. Or you can persuade a person that the system which in fact is oppressing them is good, while the systems that are saving them are evil.
All you need is a synchronized system of spreading the lies. Can you say "Foxx fair and balanced" ?

Who is inciting whom?

Senator Orin Hatch said, "It's going to be an outright war, and it should be...". Rep. Paul Brown said, " They're trying to take over...".  Senator Tom Coburn told us we were all going to die as a result of the Democrat's health insurance reform. Virginia Foxx claimed that health insurance reform is more dangerous to Americans than terrorism. And Rush Limbaugh told his followers that "We need to take them out.."
So what is Eric Cantor complaining for? He thinks the Democrats are causing the problems by talking about the right-wing lunatic fringe hate speech?
To him and to Ann Coulter who is currently  whining about being "discriminated against" by Canadian students, I say " What goes around, comes around." As the Bible says, take the log out of your own eye before you complain about the speck in your neighbor's eye.

Patriots all

True Americans want what's best for the country. True patriots don't ask for glory,or fame, or to profit from doing what's right. So look at the whiny fussbudget jerks in the party of hypocrisy who are telling America, " we didn't get our way so we will make sure everyone suffers."
Real patriotic and noble......not.

Health care or warfare?

Wow, the health care bill was signed into law today. Obama put more energy and thought into fighting  for this bill than Bush put into the war in Iraq. Bush barely even pretended to care about Afghanistan, of course. Where were all those "fiscal conservatives" when this country  was starting two wars, and cutting taxes at the same time? How come they didn't care about the deficit then?
Thank you Mr. President for giving us some protections against predatory insurance companies. You didn't go nearly far enough, but it's a start. Maybe next we can start a public co-op and tell the insurance companies to go jump in a (deep, black) lake. With rocks in their pants.
