Wow, the health care bill was signed into law today. Obama put more energy and thought into fighting for this bill than Bush put into the war in Iraq. Bush barely even pretended to care about Afghanistan, of course. Where were all those "fiscal conservatives" when this country was starting two wars, and cutting taxes at the same time? How come they didn't care about the deficit then?
Thank you Mr. President for giving us some protections against predatory insurance companies. You didn't go nearly far enough, but it's a start. Maybe next we can start a public co-op and tell the insurance companies to go jump in a (deep, black) lake. With rocks in their pants.
