The school board learned that discriminating against her would be illegal, so they cancelled the whole prom. How wise, how just, how compassionate......NOT. Who would have been hurt had they just let her be who she is, and celebrate her accomplishment like her classmates. What's the point of forcing people to lie and hide their true selves? So what if she's gay? Who does it hurt?
